LA CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT dedicates new Museum at the old Station 36. During my childhood we often went to San Pedro to see the LA City Fireboats. Among them was the Ralph J. Scott which was retired just a few years ago.
Cherry Hill Emergency Squad unit 1318/312. This picture was taken at Cooper River Park, Cherry Hill NJ, ca. 1975. In 1976 they place the rig number on the rear part of the front quarter panel. I often drove or teched in this rig. A whole lot different from what we use today!
I really like the Q2B mechanical siren on this ambulance. They still work better than the electronic sirens we use today!
